Marcus Smart is a talented player who possesses a solid all around game, but it's his competitive nature that really sets him apart from other players. He has a motor that never seems to quit and it allows him to consistently make big plays for his team. Whether it's coming up with a big rebound, diving for a loose ball, or taking a charge, Smart always seems to find a way to make big plays in clutch situations. As far as his skill set goes, he is a good shooter with range to the three point line and is good at pulling up in the mid-range as well. He is a solid ball handler who can bring the ball up the court when needed and does a good job getting to the rim and finishing through contact as well. He also does a good job of passing the ball and is very effective on the defensive side of the floor due to his hustle and hard-nosed style of play.
