Evaluation:

Anthony Davis has an extraordinary combination of length, skill, and athleticism. His length is a huge problem around the rim on both ends of the floor. Defensively he controlls the paint and consistently blocks and alters opposing shots. Offensively he does a great job of finishing around the rim and uses his length to get offensive rebounds and tip ins. He can handle the ball in the open court and can put the ball on the floor to free himself up in a half court offense. He does a very good job of knocking down mid-range shots and is capable of hitting open three pointers as well. If Davis can add some strength and develop his back to the basket game his potential could be scary.
